    Profile preparation

    Assemble academic records, English test plan, and budget.

    Start 8–12 months before your intended intake. Clean up your CV, gather transcripts, plan your IELTS/PTE test date, and sketch a realistic budget.

  2. 02

    Course & university shortlist

    Match courses to your goals, budget and eligibility.

    Shortlist 3–6 courses across ranked and mid-tier institutions to balance ambition and safety.

    • Check post-study relevance for Bangladesh/global market
    • Confirm application deadlines
  3. 03

    University application

    Submit applications with SOP, references and transcripts.

    Undergraduate typically applies via CAO (or direct for international routes); postgraduate applies directly to each university.

  4. 04

    Offer & acceptance

    Accept an unconditional offer and secure a place.

    Once conditions are met (final transcripts, IELTS), the offer becomes unconditional. Accept formally.

    • Request the Letter of Acceptance for visa
  5. 05

    Tuition payment

    Pay first tuition instalment before visa lodgement.

    Irish universities require tuition or first instalment paid before issuing final CAS-equivalent documents for visa submission.

  6. 06

    Financial preparation

    Prepare €10,000+ evidence, sponsor affidavits and source of funds.

    Bank statements should show steady, credible balances for 3+ months. Sponsors must document source of funds.

  7. 07

    Visa application

    Submit online via AVATS and lodge with VFS Global Dhaka.

    Apply for the D-type long-stay study visa. Prepare a clear cover letter and complete document set.

    • Submit documents
  8. 08

    Biometrics & submission

    Attend the VFS appointment for biometrics.

    Bring originals plus one full set of photocopies. Keep the tracking reference safe.

  9. 09

    Decision & travel preparation

    Book flights, insurance and accommodation once approved.

    After approval, plan your arrival to reach Ireland at least 1–2 weeks before orientation.

    Arrival & immigration registration

    Register with Immigration Service Delivery within 90 days.

    Complete IRP registration, PPS Number, bank account and formal enrolment in the first weeks.
